Pigmented
Lesions
Benign pigmented lesions are darkly colored
patches on the skin caused by the increased production of melanin, the
dark pigment in the skin. These are cosmetic blemishes, with no medical
risks. Some of those can be present at birth, but mostdevelop with age
or exposure to the sun.
